<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability by suppressing vertical motion of a battery cell by a simple structure thereby preventing many evils resulting from the vertical motion of a battery cell effectively. <P>SOLUTION: The battery pack comprises a plurality of battery cells 1 having a rectangular contour, and a bind bar 4 for fastening the plurality of battery cells 1 in stacked state.
