<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-coated wire rod which can be identified by appearance at a low manufacturing cost in a resin coating apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The resin coating apparatus 1 is provided with: a coating means 4 which continuously coats the whole periphery of a traveling metal wire rod W with a first resin 3 along the longitudinal direction of the metal wire rod; and a projection forming means 7 which forms a plurality of intermittent resin projections 6 by intermittently coating a part of the periphery of the coated metal wire rod where the coating layer of the first resin 3 is formed by the coating means 4 with a second resin 5 along the longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
