<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-approaching notification device capable of improving the recognizability of a sound for vehicle-approaching notification in such a manner that, irrespective of surrounding environment, particularly changes of conditions of a road surface, an object person to be notified can always constantly hear the sound for the vehicle-approaching notification. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle-approaching notification device 1, mounted on a vehicle 2, outputs a sound of vehicle-approaching notification for informing the periphery of approaching of the vehicle 2. The vehicle-approaching notification device 1 includes: a speaker 8 for outputting the sound for the vehicle-approaching notification so as to be reflected on a road surface of traveling; an input unit such as a video camera 7 for detecting conditions of the road surface, a raindrop sensor 4, a temperature sensor 5, and an ABS (Antilock Brake System) 9; and a controller 3 for setting the sound for the vehicle-approaching notification to be output from the speaker 8 based on the conditions of the road surface to be input from each input unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
