<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of an anti-falloff function. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal fitting 10 inserted into a housing 40 comprises: a box-like main body part 11; and a locking part 17 which has a shape extending in a cantilever manner from the main body part 11 in a direction intersecting the insertion/extraction direction of the terminal fitting 10 into/from the housing 40. When the terminal fitting 10 is inserted in the housing 40, it is prevented from falling off by making the locking part 17 lock with a lance 42. The terminal fitting 10 has a restriction part 35 for restricting the relative displacement of the locking part 17 in a direction opposite to a falloff direction with respect to the main body part 11, which is caused by locking the locking part 17 when an external force in the falloff direction acts on the main body part 11 with the locking part 17 locked with the lance 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
