A home controller (100) includes: a communication interface (105) for receiving the electricity consumption of a plurality of devices (200A to 200E); memory (101) for storing changes in the electricity consumption of the plurality of devices (200A to 200E); and a processor (110) for determining whether a change in the amount or percentage of electricity consumed exceeds a predetermined range for each of the devices (200A to 200E), and for outputting information indicating the electricity consumption of those devices for which the change in the amount or percentage of electricity consumed exceeds the predetermined range.
