The rolling stabilization device has a stabilization bar (11) that is rotated around a torsional axis (T), where ends (11b) of the stabilization bar are connected with suspension system (13) of an axle of motor vehicle. A rheological brake unit (15) is provided to counteract the rotation of the stabilization bar if necessary.
