<p>Provided is a touch panel display device having a display device which displays a button, a touch panel which is disposed on the front surface of the display device and detects press coordinates, and a storage unit which stores differential data between the press coordinates and center coordinates of the button, and in the case where the press coordinates detected by the touch panel are displaced to the upper side or the lower side with respect to the center coordinates of the button, the displacement of the press coordinates is corrected to an opposite direction, that is, to the lower side or the upper side, by an amount corresponding to the differential data stored in the storage unit. On the basis of the press coordinates corrected, it is determined that the button has been pressed.</p> |
