PURPOSE: A method for preparing a polyalkylene glycol-based allyl ether copolymer is provided to improve polymerization reactivity of allyl-based monomers using a catalyst and a stabilization material of an allyl monomer radical. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a polyalkylene glycol-based allyl ether copolymer uses hydroperoxide and sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate as a redox catalyst in the copolymerization of polyalkylene glycol allyl ether and acrylic acid. The method comprises the steps of: (i) preparing ethylene glycol allyl ether in a reactor; (ii) adding peroxide and sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate as a redox catalyst to the reactor; (iii) adding the acrylic acid to the reactor to perform copolymerization. |
