<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit for a lighting fixture capable of more effectively irradiating light-source light outside. <P>SOLUTION: The light source unit 10 for a lighting fixture, for instance, a guide light, for irradiating light to a region corresponding to a setting place, is provided with an LED 11A as a light source. The LED 11A is held by a holding part 12. The holding part 12 holding the LED 11A is mounted on a case for a light source 13A. The LED 11A held by the holding part 12 is stored in an inner space of the case for a light source 13A.
