摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a compression workload in a two-stroke engine. <P>SOLUTION: This two-stroke engine 1 includes a cylinder 2 for forming a scavenging port 23 and an exhaust port 24, a piston 3 arranged in the cylinder 2, a first jetting part 61 for injecting liquid ammonia into a combustion chamber 20 and a supercharger 5 for generating scavenging air by pressurizing intake air. In the two-stroke engine 1, until the piston 3 reaches the top dead center in the next place after starting supply of the scavenging air into the combustion chamber 20 from the scavenging port 23, the liquid ammonia is injected into the combustion chamber 20 from the first injection part 61.
