<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof material for an air conditioner capable of improving a noise reduction effect of a compressor. <P>SOLUTION: A sound insulator 15 includes a plate 17 which coats the piping connecting surface of a compressor and a cylindrical section 19 which is integrated with the plate 17 and projected in the direction of piping extending from the plate 17. The sound insulator 15 has an insertion opening 21 through which piping is so inserted as to penetrate the plate 17 in the direction of a thickness, and the cylindrical section 19 in the direction of the projection, and a slit 23 which extends from the end of the surface direction of the plate 17 to the insertion opening 21 and furthermore to the edge of the cylindrical section 19 in the direction of the projection along the insertion opening 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
