<p>A document template management method and system are provided. The method comprises: constructing a navigation tree having multiple nodes; and establishing the correspondence between the navigation tree nodes and document templates, and classifying and managing the document templates in accordance with the established correspondence. The system comprises: a navigation tree construction module and a management module. The technical solution allows for centralized classification and management of document templates on the basis of the correspondence between navigation tree nodes and document templates, thereby reducing human workload as well as management and design costs. When searching for document templates, the user is able to conveniently visualize the templates, markedly increasing work efficiency.</p>
