<p>Provided is a connector housing in which, when engaging the connector, the force required for insertion of the connector is lessened while the supporting force after engagement thereof is strengthened. A projecting part (11) of a first connector (10) is formed so as to have three engaging parts (11A, 11B, 11C) defined by slits (S1, S2), and in a manner such that the length of the engaging part (11A) is greater than that of the other engaging parts (11B, 11C), and that the angle of the inclined surface (11F) thereof is a more gentle angle than the respective angles of the corresponding surfaces of the others. The initial insertion force between the engaging part (11A) and a plate (20A) projecting from the center of a second connector (20) is reduced, and the insertion force between the engaging parts (11B, 11C) and the plate (20A) is also reduced. Therefore, overall engagement can be performed using low insertion force, and furthermore, ultimately the engaging teeth (11T) of all the engaging parts (11A, 11B, 11C) engage with an engaging hole (20T) formed in the plate (20A), ensuring a definitive contact surface area; therefore, the state of engagement between the first connector (10) and the second connector (20) is strengthened.</p> |
