<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter for a joint configured in such a manner that, if a joint is broken, only the joint can be replaced while leaving piping, even after the piping is fitted to a barbed part, that the joint can be appropriately rotated with respect to the fitted piping, and that a common joint can be applied even for piping with different diameters and materials. <P>SOLUTION: The adapter 10 for a joint 1 having a barbed part 2 includes: a loose insertion hole 12 formed inside, the hole opened to a base end face 11 for loosely inserting the barbed part 2 of the joint 1; and a barbed part 13 formed from the tip to the base end side to communicate with the barbed part 2 loosely inserted to the loose insertion hole 12. The barbed part 2 of the joint is capped with the adapter by inserting a clip 20 through an insertion hole 17 that penetrates a side wall of the loose insertion hole 12, to protrude into the inside of the loose insertion hole 12 and locking the protruding part of the clip 20 on any of a plurality of steps shaped like circular truncated cones formed on the barbed part 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
