<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and easily recognize information of a depth direction. <P>SOLUTION: A display device includes an input unit 101, a depth direction position information processing unit 103, and a display processing unit 104. Depth direction position information is input to the input unit 101. The depth direction position information is information corresponding to at least one of the information and position in the depth direction of a subject. The depth direction position information is set for at least part of a two-dimensional image corresponding to the subject. The depth direction position information processing unit 103 processes two-dimensional information, and the two-dimensional information comprises either one of horizontal direction position information and vertical direction position information and the depth direction position information. The horizontal direction position information is the information corresponding to the position in the horizontal direction of the subject, and the vertical direction position information is the information corresponding to the position in the vertical direction of the subject.
