IMAGE DATA SET WITH EMBEDDED PRE-SUBPIXEL RENDERED IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose various imaging processing techniques for displaying a pre-subpixel rendered image.

SOLUTION: An image processing system comprises: at least one display unit having sub-pixel array configuration for displaying a pre-subpixel rendered image; and an encoder connected to at least one input device for providing an image. The encoder can detect the sub-pixel array configuration of the display unit, apply the pre-subpixel rendering to an image from the input device, which corresponds to the detected sub-pixel array configuration, and output the pre-subpixel rendered image to the display unit.
