<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head that emits higher-pitched and louder impact sound even when the volume of a head is increased. <P>SOLUTION: The hollow golf club head includes a face portion, a crown portion, and a sole/side portion including a sole portion and a side portion, and is provided with a rib which is extended from the toe side to the heel side in the sole portion, and a weight portion which is provided closer to the side of the face portion than the rib or closer to the back side than the rib in the sole portion and increases the amplitude of vibration of the sole portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
