<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aldehyde removing liquid which has high effect of removing aldehyde in air, lasts the effect for a long time, and is superior in storage stability. <P>SOLUTION: In one embodiment of the present invention, the aldehyde removing liquid is provided which contains cysteines and has pH adjusted into 7-12 by using a pH adjuster. In another embodiment, the aldehyde removing liquid is provided which uses the pH adjuster preferably being phosphates.
