摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce all of machining errors including the machining errors peculiar to each workpiece in machining a rim of a planar workpiece. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for machining the rim of the planar workpiece includes: a main shaft; a workpiece holder to be attached to/detached from the end of the main shaft; a tool; and an NC device 5. The workpiece holder is mounted which has a planar shape corresponding to the shape of the workpiece to be machined. In the NC device, a correction value &Delta;X is calculated by using the expression: &Delta;X=&alpha;&times;cos(&theta;-&theta;0) (wherein &alpha; is the biased amount to be set individually in each workpiece holder to be mounted; &theta;0 is the biased angle to be set individually in each workpiece holder to be mounted; &theta; is the rotation angle of the main shaft 1 from a reference phase) and a command value X of the moving position of a side machining means is corrected by using the calculated correction value &Delta;X. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
