<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate a change of a forming image depending on the environment more properly. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus processes an image date to carry out image forming using an image forming device. The apparatus includes: an input device that inputs the image data; an attribute determination device that determines an image attribute of each pixel which is included in the image data; an obtaining device that shows operating environment of the image forming device and obtains environment information including at least temperature information; a determination device that determines whether image correction processing is needed based on the obtained environment information, the processing being provided for compensating a variation of an image forming density depending on the operation environment in the image forming device; an image correction device that performs the image correction processing to the image data, when the image correction processing is determined to be needed by the determination device; an attribute correction device that corrects the image attribute of the pixel of which a pixel value is changed by the image correction processing to an image attribute of pixel used for a decision of the pixel value of the pixel; and a generation device that generates a forming image data to be utilized in the image forming device in accordance with the image attribute of each pixel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
