<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make smaller the curvature of an electrode lead connected with an electrode terminal of a seal member. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery comprises: an electrode group which has a wound material formed by winding a stack of positive and negative electrodes and a separator sandwiched between the positive and negative electrodes, a positive electrode lead connected with the positive electrode, and a negative electrode lead connected with the negative electrode; and a housing case which has an enclosure having a housing hole for housing the electrode group and a bottom face intersecting with a winding axis of the electrode group, and which has a seal member sealing up the housing hole. In the secondary battery, the seal member has a seal plate with a through-hole, an electrode terminal which straddles the through-hole and has a through-hole extending along the winding axis of the electrode group, and a cap which seals up an opening of the electrode terminal on the outside of the secondary battery; one of the positive and negative electrode leads is connected to the inside face of the through-hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
