<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce memory access in performing image processing. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor includes: image processing means for performing image processing on tile images which are divided for each prescribed image size; and a memory connected via a memory bus. A flag that indicates whether all pixels in tile images are white or not is set for each tile image where the image processing by the image processing means is performed. Control is performed as follows: the tile images with the image processing performed therein are not stored in the memory concerning the tile images where the flags indicating that the all pixels in the tile images are white are set and information of the flags is stored in the memory, while the tile images where the image processing is performed by the image processing means are stored in the memory concerning the tile images where flags indicating that all pixels in the tile images are not necessarily white are set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
