<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recognition device, an information recognition method and a program enabling simple input of a handwritten character by a finger depressing on a display, as well as correct recognition of a handwritten character obliquely inputted. <P>SOLUTION: An information recognition device includes: input reception means provided in a display screen of a display device and configured to receive an input operation by hand; direction detection means configured to detect a direction of the hand; reference axis setting means configured to set a reference axis for recognition based on the direction of the hand detected by the direction detection means; and recognition means configured to recognize inputted information based on the reference axis for recognition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
