ELECTROLESS PLATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroless plating method which can form a plated film on the surface of a resin inexpensively without etching with a good efficiency.

SOLUTION: A plated film 3 is formed by forming a polymer film 1 on the surface of a resin substrate 2 by coating its surface with a siloxane polymer represented by general formula (1) and forming a plated film 3 on the polymer film 1 by electroless plating. In general formula (1), R1to R4are each independently a hydrocarbon group in which the total number of hydrogen and carbon atoms is not greater than 8, and m and n are degrees of polymerization.
