The present invention relates to an adhesive composition, and to a polarizing plate and liquid crystal display device using same. More particularly, the present invention relates to an environmentally friendly adhesive composition, and a polarizing plate and liquid crystal display device using same, wherein the composition is capable of: maintaining the adhesiveness and durability which are required for a typical adhesive, and also reducing the curing time so as to improve productivity by comprising an acryl copolymer, a crosslinking agent, and a basic accelerator at an optimized composition ratio, wherein the acryl copolymer has an average molecular weight of 250,000 to 850,000 and a viscosity of 1,000 to 4,000 cp at 23°C when the solid content is 30% by weight; obtaining a sufficient pot-life by suppressing variations in viscosity; and minimizing the amount of a dilution solvent used during coating.
