METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MULTI-THRESHOLD MULTIMODAL AUTHENTICATION USING SECRET SHARING

The invention relates to a method and a system for authenticating one or more users or objects, one or more users together with one or more objects, using a multimodal authentication principle with Modi modalities and multiple thresholds. To begin, n Modi modalities (i = 1 à n) are assigned to different groups Gi,j. Each group Gi,j is used to perform a multimodal authentication with threshold ki,j with a secret sharing scheme: the first subscript (i) is the subscript of the stage in the "cascade", and the second subscript (j) is the subscript of the group considered in the stage.
