The invention relates to a tubular valve for adjusting the compression ratio (400) of an engine with a variable compression ratio, including: at least one straight tube (401) that can translate longitudinally inside a valve casing (402) comprising a low-pressure chamber (403), said straight tube (401) comprising a first end (407) leading into said low-pressure chamber (403) and a second end (408) leading into a high-pressure chamber (405), said second end (408) being capable of engaging with at least one sealing surface (412) secured to said valve casing (402) so as to seal off said second end as tightly as possible, said straight tube (401) being held in contact with the sealing surface (412) by at least one non-return sealing spring (427); a sealing means (409) provided between the outer surface of said straight tube (401) and the valve casing (402) so as to isolate the high-pressure chamber (405) from the low-pressure chamber (403), said sealing means (409) consisting of a non-return tube (425) inside of which the straight tube (401) is housed; and at least one electric actuator (450) capable of applying, to the straight tube (401), a force that opposes the force produced by the non-return sealing spring (427). |
