CHARGER, ADAPTER, AND CHARGE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger, an adapter, and a charging system that can easily charge even a plurality of different types of secondary batteries by respective appropriate charging methods.

SOLUTION: A charger A includes a mounting part 2 on which one of a plurality of types of adapters B is selectively mounted in accordance with the type of a secondary battery 20, and a control section 1 for charging the secondary battery 20 via the mounted adapter B. The control section 1 has a plurality of specific charge controls and an unspecific charge control. If the secondary battery 20 to be charged is determined as a specific type by identification information that the mounted adapter B has, the secondary battery 20 is charged by the specific charge control corresponding to the specific type. If the secondary battery 20 to be charged is determined as an unspecific type, the secondary battery 20 is charged by the unspecific charge control.
