<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine cooling device that is capable of suppressing reduction of the system pressure when a cooling liquid temperature is lowered without increasing pressure resistance of the whole cooling device. <P>SOLUTION: The upper part of a radiator 5 is connected to a cooling liquid sub tank 15. The compressing cap 14 of the cooling liquid sub tank 15 has a compressing valve 21 and a negative pressure valve 22. An air tank 23 is connected to a port by which the compressing valve 21 and the negative pressure valve 22 output and input air between the outside and the same via an air pipe 24. The compressing valve 21 is opened along with an increase of the cooling water temperature, and air is relieved from the cooling liquid sub tank 15, thereby the pressure in the air tank 23 is increased. Consequently, the negative pressure valve 22 is opened and closed based on the back pressure higher than an atmospheric pressure, can be easily opened when the cooling water temperature is lowered, and suppresses the pressure reduction inside of a cooling liquid circulation system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
