<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve such a problem that performance of a battery deteriorates and a voltage becomes low in a portable transceiver using the battery when the ambient temperature becomes low and thus electric power is not amplified to a specified output in a transmission part of the portable transceiver using the battery at low temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A portable transceiver has a detection circuit 3 detecting a temperature of a battery. When the temperature detected by the detection circuit 3 is lower than a set value, an idle current of an amplifier 4 of the portable transceiver is increased to increase the temperature of the amplifier 4, and a temperature of the battery 2 is increased with heat generated by the increased temperature of the amplifier 4 through a printed substrate 5 mounted on a portable transceiver body, a case 9 of the portable transceiver, and a battery pack 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
