<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control occurrence of strain in welded products and thereby prevent deterioration of the appearance quality in welding a pair of to-be-welded resin articles by vibration welding. <P>SOLUTION: A method of vibration welding includes causing to-be-welded surfaces of a pair of target resin-made to-be-welded articles 1 and 2 to face each other, applying a pressurizing force to press the pair of the target articles 1 and 2 together and simultaneously applying vibration to generate friction heat to melt to-be-fused parts of the to-be-welded surfaces, and stopping the vibration when the amount of pushing reaches a predetermined value, in order to weld the molten parts.
