<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for showcases that can cut down cost required for the construction of a showcase system. <P>SOLUTION: The control device 20 for showcases constructing the showcase system together with a centralized management controller 4 controls the showcases based on set data, and can set the showcases as master units or slave units. The control device 20 responds to a request from the centralized management controller 4 when the showcase is set as the master unit, while requests a response from the showcase set as the slave unit, and responds to a request from the showcase set as the master unit when the showcase is set as the slave unit. The cost required for the construction of the showcase system can thereby be cut down by setting one showcase as the master unit while setting the other showcases as the slave units for every operation group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
