<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for drying/incinerating sewage sludge, while significantly reducing the amount of auxiliary fuel to be used, and adjusting the amount of a fluid medium to be supplied to a dryer according to moisture variation of the sewage sludge to reliably control moisture content of dried sludge. <P>SOLUTION: Exhaust gas from a circulating fluidized bed furnace 1 is distributed to two or more high-temperature cyclones 6, 7, and the fluid medium recovered by the specific high-temperature cyclone 6 is supplied to the dryer 3 as a drying heat source. The sewage sludge dried by the dryer 3 is charged into the circulating fluidized bed furnace 1 and is incinerated. The fluid medium recovered by another high-temperature cyclone 7 is directly charged again into the circulating fluidized bed furnace 1. The amount of exhaust gas to be distributed to the high-temperature cyclones 6, 7 is adjusted by dampers 10, 11 to control calorie to be supplied to the dryer 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
