<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a degree of freedom on an installation place of a position of a dial connected to a rotating shaft of a rotary shutter, thus, for example, a design can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: This refrigerator 1 includes a refrigerating compartment 5 and a freezing compartment 6, a cooler 12, a compressor 25, an air blower 15, a cold air distribution duct 16, the rotary shutter 17 disposed inside of the cold air distribution duct and having the rotating shaft 17a and a plate-shaped valve 17f connected to the rotating shaft 17a, a control panel 20, a refrigerating compartment temperature adjustment dial 23 disposed on the control panel 20 for setting a temperature of the refrigerating compartment 5, and a freezing compartment temperature adjustment dial 24 connected to the rotating shaft of the rotary shutter.
