<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for deoxygenating a sulfoxide compound under a mild condition, and producing a corresponding sulfide compound with a high yield and selectivity. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing sulfide is characterized in that sulfoxide is deoxygenated and the corresponding sulfide is obtained in the presence of a surface-immobilized gold catalyst with gold nano-particles fixed on a surface of a carrier and a silane compound. Hydroxyapatite can be suitably used as a carrier. Dimethylphenylsilane, 1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane etc. can be used as the silane compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
