摘要 In a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) in which a fuel electrode, a solid electrolyte film, and an air electrode are stacked, a collector mesh having conductivity is joined to the surface (upper side surface) of the thin plate-like air electrode on the side opposite to the joined surface (lower side surface) between the thin plate-like air electrode and the solid electrolyte film. A plurality of "joined portions" that join the collector mesh and a plurality of "non-joined portions" that do not join the collector mesh are present on the upper side surface of the air electrode. Inside the air electrode, regions (regions shown by fine dots in the drawing or dense portions), the porosity of which is smaller than that of the other regions (regions shown by white in the drawing or porous portions), are formed from the respective "joined portions" to a certain position in the thickness direction of the air electrode. An average value of the porosity of the dense portions is 20% or more and less than 35%; an average value of the porosity of the porous portions is 35% or more and less than 55%. This makes it possible to provide an SOFC in which the improvement of the gas diffusivity inside the electrode and the improvement of the joining strength of the joined portions between the electrode and the collector member can be simultaneously achieved.
