GUIDE GRATE FOR AN EXHAUST-GAS TURBOCHARGER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

The invention relates to a guide grate (13) for an exhaust-gas turbocharger (30) and to a method for producing the same. The guide grate (13) is advantageously formed in two parts and comprises a tubular basic body (15) and a multiplicity of guide blades (14), said basic body and guide blades being non-detachably connected to one another. As a joining process, use is made in particular of friction welding. Alternatively, the guide grate (13) may be produced in one piece from an annular blank which is initially subjected to a deformation and/or cutting machining process and out of the front side of which guide blades (14) are subsequently formed by means of electrochemical machining.
