A method and an arrangement for filling a storage container, in particular a storage tank of a vehicle, having a compressed medium, in particular compressed hydrogen, wherein the medium is temporarily stored in at least one high pressure storage container and immediately before being delivered to the storage container to be filled has a temperature that is within a predetermined temperature interval.
