The fluid bearing has a shaft (12), fixed element and bearing bush (10). The shaft is disconnected by a radial bearing gap (14) filled with bearing fluid in bearing bore of the bearing bush. The shaft is rotatably mounted in relative to the bearing bush by fluid dynamic radial bearing (20,22) and hydrostatic thrust bearing (26) about a rotation axis (52). An independent claim is included for spindle motor.
