Provided is a hydraulic control device that is able to prevent transient hydraulic response lag during restarting when air has contaminated pressure oil. The hydraulic control device, which is configured in a manner so as to supply the pressure oil from a hydraulic source by opening a supply valve to a hydraulic chamber that performs a predetermined operation by means of the supply of pressure oil, is provided with: an estimation means (step S2) that estimates the amount of air contaminating the pressure oil during a stopped period during which the supply valve is closed; and a correction means (steps S3 and S14) that, on the basis of the estimation values of the estimation means, corrects the amount of pressure oil supplied to the hydraulic chamber when once again supplying the pressure oil to the hydraulic chamber by once again opening the supply valve.
