<p>Provided is a separation-preventing connector in which separation of a terminal from a housing due to tension on a female connector housing or insertion into a female terminal does not occur. A separation-preventing connector (30) configured from a connector housing (10) provided with an opening (10L) and a rear surface opening (10R), and a terminal (20) inserted via the rear surface opening (10R) and held therein, wherein: a sidewall opening (10W) connecting the rear surface opening (10R) and the upper half of an opposite-side sidewall (10S2) is formed in the connector housing (10); a tapered projection (10M) is provided so as to project upward from the lower-side opening end surface (10W1) of the sidewall opening (10W); a tapered engaging recess (20M) is formed in the terminal (20) in a location facing the tapered projection (10M); a tapered hole (10K) is formed in one sidewall (10S1) of the connector housing (10); and a tapered projection (20K) for insertion into the tapered hole (10K) is formed on the terminal (20). Hence, by the sliding action of corresponding tapered parts, the terminal (20) slides in the horizontal direction and is supported within the connector housing (10).</p> |
