PURPOSE: A contact lens and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve refractive index and anti-ultraviolet and to obtain steady eye sight. CONSTITUTION: A contact lens comprises polymer. The polymer comprises 0.8-1.0 weight% of methyl methacrylate, 4-5 weight% of ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, 4-5 weight% of N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone, 2-15 weight% of vinylanisole, 0.1-0.5 weight% of azobisisobutyronitrile, and remnant amount of 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate. The vinylanisole is either 3-vinylanisole or 4-vinylanisole.
