<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of properly displaying an image on a screen when a portable information processor having the image display device incorporated therein is placed on a desk to be used. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device comprises a movable body 12 which is provided so as to be taken into or out of a housing of a portable information processor. The movable body comprises: a first unit 13 including at least a projection optical system; and a second unit 14 for rotatably supporting the first unit through a hinge part 73. The first unit includes an emission window 74, which a laser beam having passed through the projection optical system is emitted, at an end part of a side opposite to the hinge part. The hinge part is configured so as to rotate the first unit only in a direction that vertically changes a projection angle of the laser beam against a screen, that is, around a first rotation axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
