<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a positive electrode active material and a precursor thereof achieving high-efficiency manufacture without upsizing an apparatus when manufacturing a positive electrode active material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a precursor of a positive electrode active material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises the step of producing solid particles containing lithium and a transition metal element and being the precursor of the positive electrode active material by removing water from a solution containing a salt of lithium, a salt of at least one kind of transition metal element selected from the group consisting of Ni, Co, Mn, and Fe, and water for dissolving the salt of lithium and the salt of the transition metal element by flush drying. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
