PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of a digital photographing apparatus.

SOLUTION: The control method of a digital photographing apparatus includes: (a) a step of making a moving video file in a recording medium and preserving inputted moving video data in the moving video file when a user operates a first button and generates a first signal; (b) a step of stopping the preservation of the inputted moving video data when the user operates a second button and generates the first signal; (c) a step of restarting the preservation of the inputted moving video data in the moving video file when the user operates the second button and generates a second signal; and (d) a step of stopping the preservation of the inputted moving video data and completing the moving video file when the user operates the first button and generates the second signal.
