<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance sound insulation performance by sealing an air layer for sound insulation. <P>SOLUTION: A grommet comprises an elastic material, and includes an inner cylinder to which a wire harness is inserted in a closed contact state, an outer cylinder formed by turning back one end of the inner cylinder outwardly and covering an outer periphery of the inner cylinder to form an air layer for sound insulation, and a vehicle body lock recess annularly installed thereon by thinning one end side of the outer cylinder. An annular filler which is a separate member is filled from an opening formed between the outer cylinder and the other end of the inner cylinder to close the opening. An adhesive tape is wound around an outer peripheral face of the outer cylinder corresponding to an arrangement position of the filler, and the outer cylinder is fixed to the inner cylinder in the close contact state via the filler without clearances, so as to make the air layer for sound insulation form a sealed space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
