<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding stand for an information terminal, the stand being user-friendly and allowing a user to comfortably use an information terminal in various ways. <P>SOLUTION: The stand is composed of: a support 1 comprising a vertical shaft 12 integrated with a falling preventive base 11; a bearing 2 connected to the column 1; and an arm 3 that has an arm shaft 31 connected to the bearing 2 and a holding frame 32 and extends in a horizontal direction. The terminal holding frame 32 composed of a frame body 321 and a frame guide 322 is movably connected to the arm shaft 31. Position setting and screen orientation of an information terminal can be arbitrarily adjusted by moving the arm 3 connected to the bearing 2 with respect to the support 1 as a fulcrum, and the terminal is held at the position when released from the user's hand.
