<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid ink dispersed and stabilized in low-polarity waxes and resins to be used in a solid ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to a synergist for pigment in a solid ink having the following formula, wherein n is 1, 2, 3, or 4; X represents a metal, ammonium, or quaternary ammonium; R1, R2, and R3 each independently represent H, C1-C20 alkyl, C1-C20 alkoxy or halogen.
