<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera platform device, being particularly optimal for a portable camera platform and, even if installed inclined to a horizontal surface, capable of achieving an operation mode giving no feeling of strangeness in the moving direction of an image with respect to panning and tilting operations, and to provide an imaging system. <P>SOLUTION: This camera platform device controls panning and tilting drive units in conjunction with each other by panning and tilting drive amounts calculated by a control unit so as to satisfy a prescribed conditional expression corresponding to the inclination of the camera platform device to the horizon that is detected by an inclination detecting unit having inclination detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
