<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which performs suitable notification to a game player. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine is decided whether special display result notification should be performed in the processing of a step S612, and when it is decided that the special display result notification should be performed (step S613; No), a special symbol display reduction notification limit flag is brought into an on-state in order to limit further special display result notification until the variable display of a present special symbol is finished (step S614).
